Planning a switch from a storage-tank water heater?
HOT WATER, PLANNED AROUND YOUR HOME
Is tankless the right fit for your home?
Describe how many showers and fixtures you use at the same time, when hot water runs short, and whether you have a recirculation system. The assessment considers simultaneous demand, the incoming supply, installation location, and the selected model’s capacity. A tankless unit still has operating limits; it does not provide unlimited simultaneous flow.
Compare the proposed system with a suitable tank water heater, including installation work, maintenance, and how each option fits your household. Compare the complete installation cost and ongoing maintenance before choosing your system.
A complete installation starts with the right assessment
01
New installation versus tankless replacement
Replacing an existing tankless unit differs from converting a storage-tank installation. A conversion may require changes to gas or electrical service, venting, water connections, condensate arrangements, or the equipment location. The manufacturer’s requirements and the property must be evaluated before the scope is confirmed.
For a replacement, send the model label and photos of the current installation. Existing utility connections, venting, and clearances still need review; similar-looking units are not automatically interchangeable.
02
Tankless troubleshooting and maintenance
If your existing unit displays an error, has inconsistent temperature, or stops heating, record the code and model number before requesting service. Tell the team whether all fixtures are affected and whether the issue happens only at high demand. Do not remove covers or adjust gas or electrical components yourself.
Follow the manufacturer’s maintenance instructions, including any descaling or filter-service requirements for the specific model. Discuss measured water conditions with the team; read our Chandler hard-water guide before assuming a treatment product is necessary.
What affects a Chandler tankless installation estimate?
- Equipment type, capacity, and fuel source.
- Household demand and any recirculation requirements.
- Utility capacity, venting, drainage, and connection changes.
- Access, location, and removal of existing equipment.
- Applicable permit or inspection requirements and startup checks.
Request an itemized quote naming the equipment and included installation work. Our Arizona water-heater replacement cost guide explains why equipment-only prices are not complete installation estimates.

What should the completed work and warranty include?
Confirm the written scope, operating checks, maintenance instructions, removal or disposal arrangements, and who handles any applicable inspections. Ask for the manufacturer’s equipment coverage and any workmanship coverage separately, including exclusions and required registration or maintenance. Ask for the coverage that applies to your selected equipment and installation scope.

Chandler tankless water heater questions
Can I replace a tank water heater with tankless?
A conversion may be possible, but utility capacity, venting, connections, clearances, and the selected model must be checked before the installation scope is confirmed.
Will a tankless unit run every fixture at once?
Capacity depends on the model and the household’s simultaneous hot-water demand. The assessment should consider the showers and fixtures you expect to use together.
What maintenance will my tankless water heater need?
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your model. Ask about descaling, filters, local water conditions, and how maintenance affects equipment coverage.

Responsive, professional, and friendly guys who do quality work. I needed multiple plumbing issues addressed: dishwasher wasn’t moving water or draining, water softener and hot water heater needed to be replaced, and back yard hose/faucet needed to be removed. I spoke to Co-Owner, Chris, who gave a fair quote and responded to my home himself that afternoon. He offered a reasonable quote for all the work, and indicated he could address things the following day. He arrived in the morning and completed everything in four hours, along with the other Co-Owner, Vic. I would recommended these guys to anyone. Hard-working, small business-owning military vets providing quality plumbing work. If you’re looking for someone to address water issues, give these guys a call. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for your service, guys! 🇺🇸Posted on Google![]()

Chris showed up literally less than 30 minutes after I called them and finished the job in 1 hour. My house, despite having a good pressure reading on the outside bib, had inconsistent and weak water pressure inside the house. Chris replaced my pressure regulator and restored the pressure inside my house. Now I can enjoy powerful jets in my shower again.
