Symptoms that deserve investigation
Unexplained water use, persistent dampness, warm areas on flooring, changing pressure, or the sound of water running when fixtures are off can warrant investigation. None of these observations proves that a pipe under the slab is leaking; fixtures, appliances, and other accessible plumbing can create similar symptoms.
Describe where the issue appears, when it began, whether it is continuous, and any recent plumbing work. For active leakage, call for help and avoid wet electrical equipment.
Compare the repair approach before work begins
01
Diagnosis comes before a repair recommendation
The assessment begins with the symptoms, water-use pattern, accessible supply plumbing, and the property’s pipe layout where known. Appropriate investigation helps narrow down the affected line and the work needed. Ask what the diagnostic visit includes and whether further locating or access work is required before the repair can be priced.
See our broader Chandler leak-detection and pipe-repair service if the leak location is unknown. The findings help determine whether floor access is necessary or another approach is suitable.
02
Direct repair, rerouting, or broader repiping?
The appropriate approach depends on the confirmed defect, pipe material and condition, access, and the history of failures. A localized repair and rerouting a line have different access and restoration implications. If more piping is deteriorated, a broader repipe may be part of the discussion.
Ask which existing pipe remains, where any replacement line would run, and what finishes may be affected. The proposal should explain the access required and which walls, floors, or other finishes may be affected.
What affects slab-leak repair cost?
- The diagnostic and locating work required.
- The affected line, material, length, and accessibility.
- Repair versus reroute or repipe scope.
- Opening and restoring flooring, concrete, walls, or other finishes.
- Water-shutoff arrangements and applicable project requirements.
Request a written estimate separating the plumbing work from any access and restoration responsibilities. Ask who arranges each part of the project. An on-site assessment helps define a meaningful estimate for your property.

Responsive, professional, and friendly guys who do quality work. I needed multiple plumbing issues addressed: dishwasher wasn’t moving water or draining, water softener and hot water heater needed to be replaced, and back yard hose/faucet needed to be removed. I spoke to Co-Owner, Chris, who gave a fair quote and responded to my home himself that afternoon. He offered a reasonable quote for all the work, and indicated he could address things the following day. He arrived in the morning and completed everything in four hours, along with the other Co-Owner, Vic. I would recommended these guys to anyone. Hard-working, small business-owning military vets providing quality plumbing work. If you’re looking for someone to address water issues, give these guys a call. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks for your service, guys! 🇺🇸Posted on Google![]()

Chris showed up literally less than 30 minutes after I called them and finished the job in 1 hour. My house, despite having a good pressure reading on the outside bib, had inconsistent and weak water pressure inside the house. Chris replaced my pressure regulator and restored the pressure inside my house. Now I can enjoy powerful jets in my shower again.
